Abank Irenk Creative telah mencapai 7 tahun dalam perjalanannya. Tentu saja bukan hal yang mudah untuk mencapai tahun ke 7 itu. Banyak hal yang mengalami perubahan, termasuk base camp AI.
Pada awal pendiriannya AI hanya berkantor di kamar Mirwan saja. Tentu saja kamar mungil itu tidak dapat dikatakan cukup untuk sebuah kantor. Namun karena masih awal, keterbatasan dana sangat berpengaruh. Kemudian karena dirasa sudah benar – benar tidak “layak” sebagai kantor, mereka pun berpindah ke rumah salah satu crew AI yang dirasa lebih besar dan nyaman. Tetapi karena ruangan yang digunakan hanya satu dan masih dirasa tidak cukup AI pun mencari tempat lain.
AI mendapatkan suatu rumah yang dikontrakkan yang anatar fasilitas dan harga yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan selera dan kantong AI. Selama satu tahun AI menempati rumah tersebut sampai akhirnya merasa kurang nyaman di tempat itu karena beberapa alasan. Sembari mencari tempat yang nyaman, AI kembali ke rumah Mirwan, namun di ruangan lain. Dan akhirnya pada tahun ke 6 AI mendapatkan tempat yang sesuai dengan selera dan dana yang dimiliki oleh AI.
AI bermarkas di Jl. Palagan Tentara Pelajar no 52 sejak tahun ke 6 sampai sekarang. Bahkan pada tahun ke 7 AI telah memiliki 2 kantor lagi di Jl. Pandega Martha 169 Yogyakarta dan Perum Setiabudi, Primatama 93, Banyumanik, Semarang.
Kantor AI di Jl. Palagan Tentara Pelajar merupakan kantor “pusat”. Di tempat itulah para staff produksi kami yang luar biasa berkumpul. Para staff fotografer kami; Budi, Bram, Dading, Aryo, Edi Joe, Mamad, Danu, Pito, Yona, Gilang, Elang, Rendy, dan Deni; berkumpul untuk memulai produksinya setiap hari. Ada juga Umar sebagai konseptor creative yang tak jarang menginap di kantor untuk membuat konsep baru untuk berbagai sekolah. Tidak luput juga Yudhis, Andiko, Haris, Santoso, Putra, Rendy, Arman, Alfa, Putra, dan Kurdy yang mengatur jadwal kegiatan para klien; sebagai Project Leader. Dan aja juga crew pendukung lainnya seperti hal keuangan ada Lia sedangkan asisten fotografer ada Dandul, Arip, Tebo, Hendi, Wongki, Regee, dan Bonchel. Di kantor inilah biasanya kami memulai pekerjaan kami, menjual produk kami, tawar – menawar dengan klien, sampai akhirnya kami membagikan hasil pekerjaan kami kepada mereka.
Sedangkan pada “rumah” AI yang lain berisi para desainer handal kami. Robi, Miko, Watsik, Oki, Paul, Rizal, Royan, Sabar, Mamad, Riki, Bima siap memperindah hasil karya para fotografer kami. Sedangkan Gepeng, Eno, dan Nani akan membuatkan variasi pop up yang berbeda pada tiap sekolah. Dan tentu saja Desta sebagai konseptor creative kami yang terus mecari konsep yang baru dan berbeda.
Di kantor AI cabang Semarang tentu saja diisi oleh para staff yang tidak kalah handal. Ada para fotografer kami yang handal; Adit, Erick, dan Gentong. Tentu saja para project leader kami; Sari, Brian, Andre, dan Osha; selalu siap membantu.
Walaupun kami berada di 3 tempat yang berbeda tidak membuat kami tidak solid. Tak jarang kami mengadakan kumpul bersama antara para staff produksi dan desainer. Atau kami mengadakan sesi bersama dengan fotografer Jogja dan fotografer Semarang.
Kantor AI sudah seperti rumah kedua bagi para staff AI. Tak jarang beberapa staff AI menginap untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaannya atau hanya sekedar menghabiskan waktunya. Selain mengerjakan pekerjaan kami, kami tentu juga melakukan hal – hal menyenangkan lainnya di kantor. Tak jarang kami berkaraoke kecil – kecilan sampai menonton film bersama. Tentu saja kami membutuhkan hiburan kecil sebagai selingan di tengah kepenatan kami. Walaupun hal – hal kecil tapi sangat menyenangkan apalagi dilakukan dengan teman – teman terdekat kami :)
